In a Fabric dispersion system, the fabric ducts distribute air along the entire length of the duct at the desired angle. The full length even air distribution is a standard feature of FabricAir’s Smart Air Solutions and does not come with a significant price premium, which is the case when using conventional metal ducts. The full length distribution comes in two varieties: Directional Flow Models (DFM) and Surface Flow Models (SFM). These two methods can be co-specified as needed. For example, a swimming pool would require a permeable fabric to avoid condensation; an SFM. It would also require a type of DFM, like SonicFlow™, to wash the perimeter surfaces.
Full length air dispersion is enabled through permeable fabrics and directional perforations in the surface the ducting. This creates uniform, draft-free and condensation-free air distribution throughout the entire space, regardless of system complexity.
Metal ducts need grills and diffusers, which results in highly complicated installations and higher energy consumption. These additional fittings often cause uneven air distribution and add to the expense, space requirements, man hours, etc. of the project. Such uneven air distribution is a major cause for uncomfortable and unhygienic work environments as they lead to draft and condensation problems.
We design our air distribution and air dispersion systems with efficiency and excellence in mind. The fabric ducts are breathable, which makes every part of the duct functional and efficient, creating a uniform air distribution. Higher control and precision provides the area with a superior comfortable climate as far as ventilation, heating and cooling is concerned.
Full-length air dispersion allows for the gentle, noiseless exit of air from the duct surface. Ideal comfort with lower energy consumption is achieved through combining flow models to suit the specific area requirements. The use of tailored flow models allows the system to suit virtually any design requirement the end-user has without compromising the air dispersion results. That is the secret behind Smart Air Solutions.
Flexibility and tailored textile ducts allow you to freely choose the size that best suits your design. In addition to this, the textile ducts options offered when it comes to selecting airsox layouts, colors, offsets, elbows, branch ducts and materials are endless, not to mention that you can choose whether the textile ducts will be passive (low impulse), hybrid or active (high impulse). In a nutshell, there could not be more options available for achieving optimum air distribution. Textile ducts are lightweight and reduce the structural requirements of new and existing buildings. Installing fabric ducts is much safer.
Textile ducts can be laundered in a washing machine without the employment of a specialist contractor.
